3-0 Virginia Tech visits Boston College with heavy rain and damaging winds forecast

Virginia Tech (3-0) visits 2-1 Boston College on Saturday as both teams open ACC play. A nor’easter is forecast to bring heavy rain and damaging winds during the game. The Hokies are two-touchdown favorites; a win would make them 4-0 for the first time since 2017.

Virginia Tech’s win over Maryland last week ended its 15-game road losing streak against Power Four nonconference opponents. The Hokies have won the previous three meetings with Boston College.
