Former amateur rivals Chris Billam-Smith (22-2, 14 KOs) and Cheavon Clarke (12-2, 9 KOs) will meet in the main event of Zuffa Boxing 12 on Nov. 7 at London’s Copper Box Arena, the promotion’s first show in the city.
Billam-Smith, 36, made two defenses of the WBO cruiserweight title before losing it to “Zurdo” Ramirez, then beat Ryan Rozicki in June. Clarke has two amateur victories over Billam-Smith; losses to Leonardo Mosquea and Viddal Riley halted his professional rise.
The card also features light-heavyweights Zach Parker (26-2, 18 KOs) and unbeaten Umar Dzambekov (14-0, 10 KOs). Dzambekov began his Zuffa career with a two-round stoppage of Ahmed Elbiali.
