The Los Angeles Dodgers reinstated catcher Dalton Rushing from the injured list and optioned infielder Alex Freeland to the minors to clear a roster spot. Freeland has appeared in 89 games this season, batting .234 with four home runs, 21 RBIs and a .652 OPS.
