Bedford defeated previously unbeaten Goffstown 1-0 in NHIAA Division I girls soccer Tuesday, giving Goffstown its first loss and moving Bedford to 8-1. Lilah Yeater scored in the 50th minute, and Danielle Winning made five saves for the shutout.
Elsewhere in girls soccer, Campbell beat Bishop Brady 3-0 as Emily Ouellette scored twice, and Sunapee defeated Mt. Royal 4-1 behind Kaitlyn Andersen's hat trick. Manchester Memorial shut out Manchester Central 4-0 in boys soccer; Exeter beat Windham 3-1 in girls volleyball.
