Yahoo Finance Market Hang panelists discussed volatility as both a source of uncertainty and a potential opportunity, saying patient investors may benefit and that uncertainty is part of what allows stock prices to rise.
One speaker said oil was just above 90 rather than 200 because Middle East oil exports had recovered to a crisis high of more than 18 million barrels per day, attributing the volume to “dark runs.” Another panelist criticized JPMorgan’s commodities team for saying it could not model the “end game.”
