Reading visit Wycombe on Saturday, where interim boss Tom Hounsell has won all three games since taking charge. Wycombe are 14th after seven League One matches and unbeaten in their last three, including a 1-0 win at Wigan.
Hounsell took temporary charge after Michael Duff was sacked earlier this month, following Wycombe’s failure to win any of its first five league matches. Reading and Wycombe drew 1-1 in the EFL Trophy earlier this season; Reading secured the bonus point in the penalty shootout.
Wycombe are expected to line up in a 3-4-3. Goalkeeper Matt Macey is out after knee surgery; Joe Wildsmith joined this week, and striker Danny Ings has signed and could feature. Former Reading forward Jayden Wareham has scored twice in his first three Wycombe appearances.
