Worthington Enterprises posted fiscal Q1 2027 sales of $344 million, up 13% year over year and 7% organically. Adjusted EBITDA rose 10% to $74 million, adjusted EPS increased to $0.82 from $0.78, and free cash flow nearly doubled to $54 million.

Building Performance Solutions sales increased 16% to $215 million, but adjusted EBITDA was flat at $60 million as lower demand following the A2L refrigerant transition, unfavorable product mix and tight steel availability weighed on Cooling and Construction. Management estimated the A2L comparison reduced quarterly adjusted EBITDA by about $7 million and expects Q2 to remain a difficult comparison.

Trade and Specialty Solutions sales rose 8% to $129 million, while adjusted EBITDA increased to $24 million from $16 million. Adjusted earnings included a $0.06-per-share benefit from tariff refunds. Worthington also generated $13 million in fiscal Q1 revenue from ASME tanks for data-center liquid-cooling systems, matching its total for all of fiscal 2026. Executives expect sequential revenue growth in the remaining quarters, but said the opportunity pipeline is not revenue and its timing is uncertain.
