Amazon Bee and Plaud NotePin produce full conversation transcripts, while Meta’s smart glasses can record audio and video. The products signal activity with lights or, for Live Rewind, a chime and screen animation, but interviewees questioned whether such notices address consent. Reuters reported that Paris prosecutors are examining a claim that Meta glasses were used to harass someone; some establishments worldwide have banned the glasses.
