Washington’s Wednesday report lists 14 players as limited or absent ahead of Sunday’s home opener against Seattle. Quarterback Jayden Daniels (dislocated left elbow) and safety Nick Cross are ruled out; Frankie Luvu and Chig Okonkwo also did not practice.
Of the six who did not practice, guard Sam Cosmi remained in concussion protocol and was also listed with a throat injury; defensive tackle Javon Kinlaw had a shoulder injury from the Cowboys game. Luvu hurt his groin late in the first half against Philadelphia, and a hamstring injury took Okonkwo out of that game. Cross was listed with an illness and had been hospitalized for internal injuries after the game in Dallas.
Eight players were limited: Kaytron Allen (hip), Dorance Armstong (returned from an ACL injury last week), Percy Butler (groin), Leo Chenal (chest), Jaylin Lane (groin), Charles Omenihu (ankle), Tyler Owens (knee/hamstring) and Jeremy Reaves (knee and elbow). Brandon Coleman and Drew Stevens fully participated; K’Lavon Chaisson, Odafe Oweh, Daron Payne and Chris Paul were not listed.
