Stephen Curry has agreed to a two-year, $116 million extension with the Golden State Warriors, ESPN's Shams Charania reported. The team confirmed the extension Friday but gave no terms; it would extend Curry's contract through 2028-29, his 20th season as a Warrior.
The NBA's “over-38 rule” limited Curry to adding two years to his existing deal. Charania reported that the extension includes a player option for 2028-29; with his one-year, $62.6 million extension signed in 2024, the new deal would bring his contract's total value to $178.6 million through that season.
