Against Jacksonville, Waddle caught 8 of 10 targets for 138 yards after being held in check in Week 1 against Kansas City. Denver punted on all three first-quarter drives and managed only three points in two red-zone trips before halftime, but Nix mounted a fourth-quarter comeback. Offensive coordinator Davis Webb’s halftime adjustments included more throws on the move and under-center looks.
Against the Giants, Stafford threw for more than 300 yards and four touchdowns. With Nacua out, Adams caught eight passes for 195 yards and two touchdowns, while running backs Kyren Williams and Blake Corum combined for 164 rushing yards on 24 carries. The Rams also revamped their secondary through free-agent signings and trades this offseason.
