UFC reports Raoni Barcelos stable after fifth-round loss of consciousness

Raoni Barcelos was taken to hospital after losing consciousness during a fifth-round clinch with Raul Rosas Jr. at UFC Vegas 121. The UFC said he was stable, alert and responsive, with full movement, after a CT scan and assessment; his coach said more tests were underway.

Barcelos was ahead on all three scorecards entering the final round; one judge scored the fourth 10-8 for him. The loss ended what would have been his sixth straight UFC victory.
