UBS raised its HubSpot price target to $290 from $250 and kept a Buy rating after HubSpot outlined its AI strategy. Early data show Marketing Studio users created 81% more campaigns and Breeze Assistant users generated 2.2 times more leads, but monetization remains early.
HubSpot is moving toward a hybrid seats-and-credits model for Breeze, allowing customers to pay for AI as they use it. In Q2, revenue rose 20% as reported, while net revenue retention was 102%, down 1 percentage point year over year. AI-agent pricing reductions and trials, along with customer budget optimization, weighed on seat and credit expansion.
Customer count rose 14% and average subscription revenue per customer rose 4%, but HubSpot added 7,000 net new customers in Q2, below management’s 9,000–10,000 expectation. The report attributed the shortfall to weaker conversion rates and increased buyer hesitancy.
