Ohio State will host 2028 defensive backs Nate Dollard and Troy Bishop for Saturday’s game against Illinois. The Buckeyes also target five-star 2027 forward Demarcus Henry and are making a late push for South Carolina-committed 2028 receiver Joseph Gibbs.
Dollard is a four-star cornerback ranked No. 232 nationally and 23rd among cornerbacks by the 247Sports Composite. Bishop, a Southern California safety, is ranked No. 544 nationally and 40th at his position; it will be his first trip to Columbus after Ohio State offered him at a June camp.
Henry has Ohio State among his options alongside Arkansas, BYU, UConn, Duke, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisville and North Carolina. He may be nearing a decision, but the recruitment is not settled; his sister is a current Buckeye and his brother is Chris Henry Jr. Gibbs is ranked No. 169 nationally and 24th among 2028 receivers by the 247Sports Composite, and other schools are also trying to sway the South Carolina commit.
