President Donald Trump told MS NOW reporter Akayla Gardner to “quiet” after she asked if he wanted tough questions, during a dispute over White House press access. He also called Barack Obama’s view that women-led governments would do better “ridiculous.”
Gardner had asked whether Trump wanted only outlets that support him in the White House press pool, after he banned CNN, MS NOW and Politico from the White House. A federal judge blocked that decision Thursday; on Saturday, Trump barred CNN from Air Force One and replaced it with LindellTV.
Obama said Monday that if women were in charge of every government for about two years, things might be better, though not perfect. Trump said he loved women and called the idea ridiculous.
