Justin Hartley says “Tracker” Season 4 will keep viewers ahead of Colter Shaw on what his father did to him as a child, though the reveal is set aside for now. Russell took a shady job in last season’s finale to keep Colter from learning it; the season premieres Oct. 4.
Season 4 opens with Colter returning to missing-person work. Hartley says the premiere’s case begins when a teenager contacts him under false pretenses about his missing father, then expands into a dangerous criminal operation.
Hartley says the season will also show Colter facing failure at work despite his efforts. Sofia Pernas will return as Billie, Jensen Ackles as Russell, and Brent Sexton’s return as Keaton is planned. Hartley also said Colter’s father’s truck is planned to return in a major way and help him.
