Tennessee Titans running back Tony Pollard says rookie Nick Singleton has the tools to become an NFL playmaker and is mentoring him through the adjustment. Singleton had 10 rushing yards on four touches in his regular-season debut against Philadelphia.
Pollard said Singleton needs time for the game to slow down and advises him to trust that the Titans saw enough in him, rather than trying to do too much—a lesson Pollard said he learned from veterans in Dallas. Coach Robert Saleh said Singleton may have left some yards on the field in his debut, but he also liked some of what he saw.
