“The Pitt” will film scenes in Pittsburgh Oct. 27–29, 2026, with nonunion background-actor roles open to applicants, mostly age 18 and older. No experience is required; general extras will earn $250 for 12 hours, plus overtime if they work longer.
Applicants should fill out the casting form posted by Movie Casting PGH and email it to extraspgh@gmail.com with photos based on the role. They must be available for at least one full day; some scenes may require multiple days.
Casting roles include doctors, nurses, medical technicians, EMTs, patients, hospital visitors, pedestrians, construction workers and precision drivers. Some roles for Pittsburgh residents involve an outdoor winter scene, and extras should be comfortable working outside in layered clothing.
