INMO International Technology recalled more than 1,600 Air3 smart glasses sold in the U.S. and Canada after 10 reports of overheating. The company says users should stop using them and contact it for a free repair.
The recall says prolonged use may make the left side of the frame dangerously hot, risking severe burns and other serious injuries. Some users reported a burning sensation on their face and left ear after extended use.
The glasses were sold online from December 2025 through August 2026 for $900 to $1,300, including through Amazon, Inmoxr.com and Kickstarter. Canada’s consumer safety website said it had received no overheating reports and that users should have the glasses updated to software version 3.16 before resuming use.
