Virginia Tech’s Wednesday report lists 10 players as questionable and Emmett Laws out for Saturday at Boston College. Coach James Franklin said receiver Ayden Greene could be a game-time decision after leaving last week’s game; Justin Terry missed Wednesday’s practice.
Greene, the Hokies’ leading receiver last year, had four catches for 58 yards against Maryland before leaving and not returning. Franklin said Monday Greene could be a game-time decision; the injury details are unknown. Terry, a starter at left tackle for the first three games, suffered a lower-leg injury last week and was seen on crutches. Redshirt junior Logan Howland filled in last week, while starting left guard Layth Ghannam also took practice reps at tackle.
The other eight questionable players are WRs Takye Heath, Snook Peterkin, L.J. Booker and Luke Stuewe; RB Bill Davis; CB Jojo Crim; and OL Lucas Austin and Roseby Lubintus. Stuewe returned to practice this week after missing time with an injury. Laws is recovering from offseason surgery and nearing a return.
