After the Green Bay Packers fell to 1-2 with a Week Three loss to Atlanta, Stephen A. Smith predicted Matt LaFleur may lose his head-coaching job before the season’s first half ends. Green Bay plays Tampa Bay next week.
On First Take, Smith said the Packers looked “soft” and were ill-equipped to win without Micah Parsons. LaFleur, hired in 2019, has taken Green Bay to two conference championship games but not a Super Bowl; the Packers have been eliminated in the Wild Card round in each of the past two seasons.
