Season 5 of “Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test” premieres Thursday, Sept. 24, at 9 p.m. ET on FOX; Fubo is listed as a live-stream option with a free trial. Its 15 celebrity recruits face military-style training in Malaysia.
The premiere, titled “Jungle Warfare,” includes a backward plunge from a hovering helicopter into the water. Recruits include athletes LeSean McCoy and Matt Barnes; TV personalities Bre Tiesi, Alexia and Mauricio Umansky, and Brandi Glanville; and actors Ruby Rose, Hannah Stocking and Candace Cameron Bure.
The competition features mental and physical challenges. The only ways to leave are disqualification, quitting voluntarily or a medical withdrawal.
