SpaceX is targeting Monday, Sept. 28, for Starship’s 14th test flight from Starbase, Texas, with a launch window from 8:15 to 9:30 a.m. ET. The mission could send the rocket into orbit for the first time; SpaceX plans to livestream it.
SpaceX says the schedule is dynamic and could change. Its website stream is due to begin about 30 minutes before liftoff, with updates on X.
The flight plan calls for the 236-foot Super Heavy booster to land in the Gulf of Mexico, while the 171-foot upper stage could climb above 170 miles, complete six Earth orbits and fly for up to 10 hours before a planned Pacific water landing west of Chile. SpaceX also hopes to deploy 26 operational third-generation Starlink satellites.
