Sofia Coppola said starting a new film still scares her, and she sees that unease as a sign the project is worth pursuing. On the “Happy Hour with Ina Garten” podcast, she said she has “no idea” how a movie will come together when she begins.
Coppola said she avoids reading bad reviews but recently came across a box of negative reviews of her 2006 film “Marie Antoinette.” She said it was “so fun” that the film had survived and found a new audience that likes it.
