‘SNL U.K.’ sketch casts Oasis as Russian psyop targeting Andy Burnham

The third episode of “SNL U.K.” Season 2 opened with a sketch in which Oasis’s Liam and Noel Gallagher trick Andy Burnham into sharing personal details by asking him to fill in for an injured Liam at a gig; Noel then declares Oasis a Russian psyop.

George Fouracres played Burnham, with Celeste Dring as Angela Rayner, Jack Shep as Liam Gallagher and Freddie Meredith as Noel. The sketch opens with a joke about Burnham’s UN speech and closes with Noel turning Liam’s “Maybe” into a “Wonderwall” line.
