Skyler Gisondo says acting with Robert Pattinson in “Primetime” was “completely electrifying,” as Pattinson’s unpredictable style made it feel like “anything could happen.” Pattinson plays Chris Hansen, and Gisondo plays decoy Dan Plumb. The film opened Sept. 25.
Gisondo called Pattinson “the most exciting actor to work with” and “generous and collaborative.” He said he grew up watching Pattinson in “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire” and the “Twilight” saga, of which he described himself as a “mega” fan. Director Lance Oppenheim said Pattinson “jumps off a cliff in every take.”
The film’s synopsis says it follows Hansen in 2006 as he sets out to make television history through “To Catch a Predator.” The cast also includes Merritt Wever, Matthew Maher, Bokeem Woodbine and Phoebe Bridgers, making her acting debut.
