Skip Bayless called the Green Bay Packers “inept” and “pathetic” on “First Take” after their 35-14 home loss to Atlanta on Thursday left them 1-2. He said they had played the worst in pro football over three games.
Green Bay blew a Week 1 lead and lost to Minnesota, then beat the Jets in overtime in Week 2. ESPN said the Packers became the first team since 1941 to win a game with fewer than 200 total yards, more than 100 penalty yards and a negative turnover margin.
Packers fans booed the team at Lambeau after the Falcons loss. Tight end Tucker Kraft called the reaction disappointing and said playing with the crowd behind the team would be easier, though he said the players were mentally strong enough to respond.
