Lawyers for Rep. Max Miller have again subpoenaed Sen. Bernie Moreno and his wife in Miller’s custody dispute with ex-wife Emily Moreno, a source familiar with the matter confirmed to CNN. Representatives for Miller and Moreno declined to comment.
During the custody proceedings, Emily Moreno has made serious allegations of abuse against Miller; he has denied them.
Miller is seeking reelection in Ohio’s 7th Congressional District, and Moreno called for him to leave the race earlier this summer. Miller is also under investigation by the House Ethics Committee, which he requested in August. CNN reported the committee is not expected to release findings before the midterms.
