A photo circulating on X that appears to show Donald Trump, Xi Jinping, Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos at the White House state dinner on Sept. 24, 2026, is AI-generated, not an event photograph. Real images show Musk at the table but not Bezos.
The image posted by the @DanicaPavi43369 account carried a “Made with Grok Imagine” label. Hive Moderation’s content detector assessed it as 99.9% likely to be AI-generated.
Getty Images photographs show a 10-seat table with a red tablecloth, unlike the large white-clothed table in the X image. They also show Melania Trump in a black-and-white dress and Peng Liyuan in red; the outfits differ from those in the AI-generated images. A second AI-generated dinner image was posted on X by @TeslaSynopsis.
