Seattle re-signed defensive tackle Uso Seumalo to its practice squad three weeks after releasing him, his agency said. The Seahawks also added wide receiver Malick Meiga, 3 Down Nation reported, ahead of their Week 3 game against Washington.
Seumalo, an undrafted rookie who spent training camp with Seattle, was released from the practice squad to make room for veteran tackle Bobby Hart and went unsigned around the league. Meiga, an undrafted rookie from Coastal Carolina, spent camp and early preseason with Carolina before being waived with an injury designation; he caught one pass for 13 yards in the Hall of Fame game.
Seattle was scheduled to practice Wednesday afternoon, which was expected to provide the first chance to see Seumalo back and Meiga in a Seahawks uniform before the Week 3 game against Washington.
