Sam Darnold set to play as Seattle faces Washington in Week 3

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Sam Darnold has been cleared to play against Washington on Sunday after a hip injury suffered in Week 1 kept him out of the Week 2 win over Arizona. Coach Mike Macdonald said Darnold has no injury designation.

Drew Lock started in Darnold’s place against Arizona, completing 19 of 26 passes for 235 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions in Seattle’s 31-7 victory on Sept. 20.
