Mbappé scores France’s winner under Zidane, then is forced off

Kylian Mbappé scored the only goal as France beat Türkiye 1-0 on Friday, giving Zinedine Zidane a winning start as manager. Mbappé stretched his leg awkwardly as he shot, felt something, then tried to continue before being replaced by Désiré Doué.

The first half was goalless, with few clear chances. Eduardo Camavinga also came on as a second-half substitute.
