Sam Darnold ready for Week 3; Caleb Williams unlikely to play, Puka Nacua doubtful

Yahoo Sports

Seattle coach Mike Macdonald says Sam Darnold is ready for Sunday's game against Washington and is off the injury report. Chicago's Caleb Williams isn't expected to face Philadelphia Monday, NFL Network reported; Rams receiver Puka Nacua is doubtful Sunday with a hip injury.

Darnold was a full participant Thursday and was off Seattle's injury report Friday. Williams left Week 2 with a hamstring injury; Bears backup Tyson Bagent cleared concussion protocol and was scheduled to practice Saturday. Rams coach Sean McVay said Nacua had made little progress on a hip/groin issue and that the team expected him to be ready to return next week.

Washington quarterback Jayden Daniels is listed out with an elbow injury, but GM Adam Peters said surgery was not being considered and the team had not discussed injured reserve, which would sideline Daniels for at least four weeks. Houston wide receiver Nico Collins is out with a Grade 1 hamstring strain; Baltimore's Zay Flowers is questionable, while Eagles running back Saquon Barkley was a full participant Friday and was not on the injury report.
