Rosas Jr. scores fifth-round knockout of Barcelos at UFC Vegas 121

Raul Rosas Jr. won UFC Vegas 121’s main event with a fifth-round knockout of Raoni Barcelos on Sept. 26 in Las Vegas. Barcelos was stretchered out after appearing to hit his head or neck on the fence during a takedown; the replay was inconclusive.

It was Rosas’ first UFC main event. The report said Barcelos had been landing at a higher rate through the earlier rounds; both fighters were bloodied and exhausted entering the fifth, and Rosas had a large cut on the bridge of his nose.
