‘Rivals’ executive producer Dominic Treadwell-Collins says Monica’s death will make Rupert push Taggie away further, while Taggie will tire of it. He says there is still hope for them if both mature; Season 2 Part 2 premieres November 11 on Hulu and Disney+.
Monica died during the hurricane while driving Caitlin home, after discovering Maud and Tony’s affair. Rupert was with Monica in her final moments.
Treadwell-Collins said the events of Episode 6 make Rupert and Taggie’s path harder. He also said Helen will see Rupert’s pain and may believe he can change, while knowing the harm he can cause.
