Riot Fest 2026 ended Sunday in Chicago after heavy rain left water pooled in Douglass Park, delaying gates by about three hours to 2 p.m. Around 50,000 fans crossed muddy grounds as sets were shortened; William Shatner was among the day's performers.

Shatner played a 35-minute, six-song mix of metal covers and originals with his band, the *uckers, while previewing his forthcoming metal album.

Taking Back Sunday played its 2006 album Louder Now in full for its 20th anniversary. SUGAR's Thursday set at Chicago's Metro was a 23-song, 90-minute performance, part of the band's first tour together since 1995; rain canceled Afroman's Saturday set.
