Reports say Giants QB Jaxson Dart is expected to have surgery that would end his 2026 season after Monday’s 28-6 loss to the Rams. Reported damage involves his left MCL, PCL and meniscus, but not the ACL; coach John Harbaugh said Tuesday he remained under evaluation.
Dart was injured on the opening drive and did not return. X-rays were negative, and he had an MRI Tuesday. NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo reported that the scan showed worse-than-expected damage. Harbaugh said he could not comment on season-ending surgery until the team knew more.
Malik Nabers said his right shoulder popped out in the first quarter and he put it back in; he returned the next series. Brian Burns was diagnosed with a low left ankle sprain and called it “nothing serious,” but it was unclear whether he would miss time. Andrew Thomas suffered a groin injury on the final offensive play, and the team had not provided an update.
