Texas Border Patrol agents rescued four migrants trapped in a pickup’s portable water tank on Sept. 14 and arrested the 19-year-old U.S. citizen driver, who faces an alien-smuggling charge, U.S. Customs and Border Protection said.
The migrants were identified as two Bolivian nationals, one Cuban and one Colombian. Agents used power tools to open the tank; all four declined medical attention and were taken to the Uvalde South Border Patrol Station for processing.
