Tudum reported that WWE Raw drew 3.1 million global views on Netflix on Sept. 14, its biggest total since April. The Mexico City show featured Roman Reigns defending the World Heavyweight Championship against hometown wrestler Penta.
The total was 500,000 above the Sept. 7 episode’s 2.6 million views. Tudum said the Sept. 14 show ranked sixth globally and fourth in the United States; Wrestlenomics data cited by Wrestling Inc put Raw’s summer high at 2.7 million, on Aug. 17.
Raw aired against the season opener of Monday Night Football. ESPN said the Kansas City Chiefs-Denver Broncos game drew more than 23 million viewers. On the following Raw, Penta replaced Solo Sikoa in a Money in the Bank qualifying match and won a place in next month’s men’s match.
