Others said actors’ earnings depend on contracts and studio accounting, so a film’s box-office total does not determine their share of profits.
On film animal work, a commenter claimed 10 cats played Sassy in Homeward Bound, each trained for a different trick. Other commenters said trained horses and dogs can appear distressed onscreen while being rewarded between takes. The roundup does not independently establish these accounts.
