Razoo’s Cajun Cafe has rolled out a new food menu across all its restaurants, with owner M Crowd Hospitality emphasizing scratch-made dishes, Cajun and Creole techniques and Louisiana flavors as it seeks to restore the 35-year-old brand after bankruptcy.
Razoo’s filed for Chapter 11 in October 2025 with $12.7 million in debt and sought to keep its remaining 20 locations open. M Crowd, which operates Mi Cocina, bought the chain for $18 million.
M Crowd consulted longtime Razoo’s customers and visited 12 Louisiana restaurants in one day while developing the menu. The chain plans to serve fresh crawfish daily when in season and source Leidenheimer bread for po’boys and andouille sausage for red beans and rice. In October, it plans to begin revising the beverage menu, adding fresh fruit and juices and drinks including an updated hurricane and an LSU-purple Tiger Smash.
