Rams' Myles Garrett faces a roughly six-week recovery after knee surgery

SB Nation

Rams star Myles Garrett is expected to miss roughly six weeks after arthroscopic knee surgery, two weeks longer than the team's initial estimate. The revised timeline would sideline him against the Raiders and Chargers; NFL Network says he is determined to beat it.

Garrett had the procedure after Los Angeles' Week 1 game against the 49ers. The team had initially hoped he could return in Week 6 against the Cardinals.

The Rams acquired Garrett from the Browns in a deal that sent Jared Verse and three draft picks, including a 2027 first-round pick, to Cleveland. The team hoped the procedure to clean out Garrett's knee would relieve discomfort and swelling.
