Rainbow Six Tactics will use fatigue and injuries to make players rotate Operators, game director Martial Potron told TechRadar Gaming. Injured agents can be unavailable for two missions, while the game will flag which characters suit each assignment.
Potron said mission needs will also shape the roster. For example, he said Ash, who uses explosives, would not suit a mission to rescue targets; a close-range or precise Operator would be a better fit. Operators are also designed to counter different enemies.
Rainbow Six Tactics is scheduled to arrive in 2027 for PC, PS5, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S.
