Las Vegas Raiders rookie quarterback Fernando Mendoza has launched “Finance with Fernando,” a social-media video series with U.S. Bank aimed at Gen Z. It will cover practical money management, including 401(k) contributions and other basic financial decisions.
Mendoza studied at UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business and completed financial internships before entering the NFL. He also serves as U.S. Bank’s “Chief Financial Playmaker.”
The series debuts while Mendoza waits for an opportunity to play: Las Vegas has started veteran Kirk Cousins at quarterback during its 2-0 start.
