Puka Nacua doubtful for Denver as surgery remains possible if he fails to improve

Rams receiver Puka Nacua is doubtful for Sunday's game at Denver with a groin injury. ESPN's Adam Schefter says he may return next week; the Rams see the injury as short-term and don't expect surgery, but haven't ruled it out if he fails to improve.

Nacua also missed Week 2 after the groin injury flared up again. Schefter said Nacua could functionally play but did not feel able to do so with his usual explosiveness.
