Police arrest 18-year-old after motorcyclist dies in A2 crash

An 18-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving after a motorcyclist died in a crash on the A2 near Teynham, Kent. Police were called at about 20:30 BST on Friday; the man remains in custody as enquiries continue.
The collision involved a black BMW 420D and a black Yamaha MT-09 on the coastbound A2 London Road, near the junction with Lewson Street. The motorcyclist suffered serious injuries and was confirmed dead at the scene, Kent Police said.
