Pittsburgh’s Roberto Clemente Bridge has closed to vehicles for Oktoberfest setup and will stay closed through the Oct. 1–11 festival and its teardown. Pedestrians can still access the area; officials urge drivers between Downtown and the North Shore to follow posted detours.
The 11-day festival is expected to draw thousands with live music, German-inspired food, beer gardens and family-friendly entertainment. Normal traffic on the bridge is expected to resume after teardown and the area is cleared for vehicles.
