Pelinka reports positive early talks with prospective Lakers buyers

Lakers general manager Rob Pelinka described his preliminary talks with prospective buyers Bob Iger and Josh Kushner as “really positive.” The ownership sale still awaits NBA approval, and he said the Lakers’ day-to-day operations have not changed.

Pelinka said the Lakers have added more than 15 people to the front office, including assistant general managers Eric Amsler and Rohan Ramadas. He also said the team revamped its analytics, scouting and training departments and added equipment and recovery resources.
