Germany opens Klopp era with 1-1 draw as Tah says team took first step

Klopp began his Germany tenure with a 1-1 draw against the Netherlands on Thursday night. Jonathan Tah called the effort a first step toward a fresh start. Germany was outplayed in most aspects but earned a point against its toughest opponent of the international break.

After this summer’s tournament, the DFB shifted its plan from Julian Nagelsmann to Jürgen Klopp.
