Taylor Swift’s “Patient Zero,” scheduled for release Sept. 25, could tie Drake’s record of 10 Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 debuts if it opens atop the chart, making her the first woman to reach that mark. A debut there would also give her 16 Hot 100 No. 1s.
Swift has seven Billboard Global 200 No. 1s, one fewer than BTS; a “Patient Zero” chart-topper would tie the group’s record. On the Global Excl. U.S. chart, she has four No. 1s and is tied for second with Bad Bunny, Blackpink and Ariana Grande; a No. 1 there would put her alone in second.
Swift holds the Digital Song Sales record with 32 No. 1s; another chart-topper would make 33. Her 11 Streaming Songs No. 1s rank second overall and first among women, behind Drake’s 22. Three months earlier, “I Knew It, I Knew You” debuted at No. 1 on the Hot 100, Streaming Songs, Digital Song Sales and Global 200. The track sold 70,000 downloads in the U.S. during its opening week.
